  • CLUB OPERATION POLICY

    MONITOR YOUR OWN PHYSICAL CONDITION

    It is the responsibility of each individual to assess their physical condition, avoid excessive or unsafe exercise, and take responsibility for their own health and safety. Participation in this sport is not recommended for customers with serious illnesses (e.g., epilepsy, heart disease) or those recovering from severe illness or injury.

    NON-MARKING SHOES ONLY

    Appropriate sporting attire including footwear must be worn at all times. To preserve our court surfaces, only badminton shoes and non-marking sports shoes are allowed on the court, Shirts must always be worn on and off the court.

    ETHICAL CONDUCT

    Entrants must always behave appropriately and follow the lawful directions of Brooklyn Badminton Center. Derogative comments, abusive language and inappropriate or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. No rude or inappropriate behaviour towards NYBC staff or other customers is permitted.

    BKBC reserves the right to refuse entry to any person or remove any person from its courts/facilities.

    NON-SMOKING / NON-VAPING / NON-ALCOHOL AREA

    Smoking, vaping, and alcohol consumption are strictly prohibited within the BKBC. Food can only be enjoyed in designated seating areas.

    PERSONAL PROPERTY

    Customers are solely responsible for their property. BKBC does not assume liability for theft, loss, or damage to any property within BKBC premises.

    BKBC PROPERTY

    If an entrant causes any damage to BKBC property/facilities/equipment they will be held responsible for all costs associated with replacement or repairs whichever is decided by BKBC .

    YOU ARE UNDER SERVEILANT CAMERA

    Security cameras operate within all Brooklyn Badminton center/courts/facilities. Entrants acknowledge that they may be filmed. BKBC management is committed to protecting your privacy. We only store information related to bookings and billing. This information is accessible only to BKBC management, and we will never share your personal information with third parties.

  • COURT CANCELLATION POLICY

    By reserving the court online, Center will gurantee the court time for you, therefore, we request your 24hr. prior notification for any changes = deadline.

    Before deadline, you can return to your confirmation email to change your schedule, or cancel. No charge .

    After deadline, we will not honor the changes, you will have to follow the cancellation policy:

    LATE CANCELLATION ( bkbc was notified less than 5 hrs. prior to scheduled time ) = 50% of the reserved cost.

    NO SHOW or CANCEL/CHANGEless than 60min before reserved time = 100% of the reserved cost.

  • MULTI-PASS POLICY

    MULTIPLE PASS

    Either 10-pass or 20-pass is valid for 90 days after the 1st use. After 90 days, the expired pass can continue to use within 365 days with extra $5/visit.

    Not refundable, not transferrable, not sharable with others.

    BKBC member card can use at LIBC / NYBC with NO additional fee.

    PAYMANT

    We DO NOT ALLOW guests on court. Everyone enter the court need to pay entry fee.

    If one player sign up in multiple time slot on the same day, need to pay multiple entry fee.

    Multi-Pass CAN NOT BE LENT to others. Multi-pass will be charge double if non-card holder used.

    Adults CAN NOT use Juniors' pass! If occured, Jr. pass will be depleted.

    RESERVE WITH MULTI-PASS

    You can chose to RESERVE WITHOUT PAYING, but still need to fill in the credit card info as backup. Then pay with Multi-pass at center at arrival.

  • LESSON POLICY

    DRESS CODE

    SPORTS WEAR, NON-MARKING SHOES ( No slippers, flipflops, crocsw, uggs, boots, dress shoes, dark rubber sole shoes )

    PRIVATE LESSONS:

    1. If you are not coming for the class you aleady scheduled, please make sure to SMS: 646-271-3228 at least 24 hr. prior to the class. Otherwise, your credit will be automatically deducted. 

    2. For any same day CANCELLATION, we request reasonable excuse to be able to refund the credit to account.

    3. Once student initiates the private lesson package, there will be NO REFUND. Unless there is unexpected urgent changes that student has to be excused from private training. In such condition, the classes taken will be caculated at the single hr. rate x hrs already taken and $35/admission charge.

    4. All package will be expired after 365 days starting from the 1st day of using the package. No credit will be kept, no extension will be allowed. 

    GROUP CLASS

    1. If you are not coming for the class you aleady selected, please make sure to CANCEL the class from the email confirmation page, at least 24hr. prior to the scheduled class. Otherwise, your credit will be automatically deducted. 

    2. For any same day CANCELLATION, we request reasonable excuse to be able to refund the credit to account. Maximum refund credit will not exceed 2 times per every 15 sessions. 

    3. Once student initiates the group package, there will be NO REFUND. Unless there is unexpected urgent changes that student has to be excused from group training. In such condition, the classes taken will be caculated as $60/session and $35/admission charge will apply.

    4. Each package is only allow siblings to share. NOT shareable with friends. 

    5. Weekend group class credits CAN NOT USE in any seasonal CAMPS. 

    6. All package will be expired after 365 days starting from the 1st day of using the package. No credit will be kept, no extension will be allowed. 

  • RACQUET RESTRING POLICY

    BKBC do not re-string racquets with sign of damage to the frame of the racquet.

    If you prefer to use our own string, BKBC will not be liable if the string breaks during the service. In case of breaking the string during service, you will be responsible to pay for the time spent for service $10

    If you request to have your racquet strung at the high tension over the manufactural recommended range. You will be fully responsible for the damage might caused to the racquet and string. In such case, you must pay the full service fee regardless.

    BKBC does NOT offer a  warranty on string service/replacement. After the product has been received, the condition / performance of strings are the responsibility of the racket's owner / person received.

    Brooklyn Badminton Center reserves the right to refuse replacement on any strings after customer delivery.  

  • PURCHASE RETURN POLICY

    RACQUET WARRANTEE

    YONEX Badminton provides a 1 year Manufacturer Warranty for all Rackets purchased. This warranty covers Manufacturer defects only and does not cover accidental damage. As such, it is NOT 100% guaranteed that a claim will yield a new Racket. For situations where Yonex decides that a racket has a Manufacturer defect, Yonex USA will provide a new racket (frame only). Brooklyn Badminton Center will ship the racket to Yonex USA if the racket is purchased from Brooklyn Badminton Center within 365 days from the purchasing date. Please do not cut the string as this voids all warranty. The entire process usually takes approximately 3-4 months.

    Victor Badminton provides a 1 year Manufacturer Warranty for all Rackets purchased. This warranty covers Manufacturer defects only and does not cover accidental damage. As such, it is NOT 100% guaranteed that a claim will yield a new Racket. For situations where Victor decides that a racket has a Manufacturer defect, Victor USA will provide a new racket (frame only). Brooklyn Badminton Center will ship the racket to Victor USA if the racket is purchased within 365 days from Brooklyn Badminton Center.  Please do not cut the string as this voids all warranty. The entire process usually takes approximately 4-6 months.

    MAXX Badminton currently does not offer warrantee

    LINING Badminton currently does not offer warrantee

    FILEX Badminton currently does not offer warrantee

    INSTRUCTION OF WARRANTEE PROCESS:

    1. Without cutting or removing the strings from racket, please package the racket in its original packaging. BKBC is not responsible for any damages for the package while in transit.

    2. Please email us at 2023bkbc@gmail.com for a Warranty Claim request.

    3. Ship/ Bring the package to the address below. It is recommended to use a courier with a tracking number.

    4. Include a copy of the Receipt or Invoice with order.

    5. If your racket is replaced you will be responsible for any additional shipping charges and stringing services.

    Your warranty will be processed within 3-4 months upon receipt of package. This includes time it takes to ship the racket to the manufacturer as well as the manufacturer inspecting the racket.
